Reduction’s Increase

He carelessly tried reducing his dime to a nickel, angered by the compliments of other’s,
for what he’d never give her,

He always showed contempt and being  loathsome, as she found herself often, feeling very lonesome.

Stating a problem each time she sexily dressed, accusing,

and verbally abusing, to cause her unmentionable stress.

Before long,

each reduction fell on deaf ears, as she knew her worth,

just began to step outside herself  more, regarding these years.

The last time he tried to reduce her to a nickel, she left,

never returning,

as her heart broke into a satisfied giggle.
